What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with your print! We’ve gone to great lengths to provide detailed product listings and visuals so our customers know exactly what they’re getting and will be happy when it arrives. Our prints and custom frames are made to order. Therefore, we do not accept returns. 

What paper is used?

We print on Hahnmühle rag photo paper. It meets the highest industry standards regarding density, color gamut, color graduation, and image sharpness. It is acid-free, lightfast, and extremely resistant to aging.

Will the physical print look just like the image displayed on the website?

The colors you see on your monitor may differ somewhat from those of the print due to variability of monitor settings. 

Do you offer framing?

Yes! Framing is available for all orders within the contiguous United States.

What are the framing details and dimensions?

We've partnered with Simply Framed to provide high-quality custom framing, made to order. The black, white, and natural wood gallery frames come complete with UV-filtering acrylic, archival acid-free foam core backing, a paperback finish, wall bumpers, and a hanging hardware kit.

Where do you ship?

Complimentary standard shipping is provided within the contiguous United States.

Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for delivery of unframed prints and a minimum of 3 weeks for framed prints. Pictures of Austin is not responsible for shipping delays.

If you're interested in shipping unframed prints outside the contiguous United States, please email hello@picturesofaustin.com and we'll provide you with an estimated shipping cost.

Framed prints are currently available only within the contiguous United States.

Do you take custom orders?

We'd love to hear from you if you have something custom in mind! Is there an image that you'd like to order in a different size or wall display? Please email hello@picturesofaustin.com.

Can I get a high-resolution file so I can make a print myself?

No. We only offer physical prints at this time.

How will I know when my order ships?

An email confirmation will be sent to the email address you use when placing your order. A second email will be sent to the same email address when your order ships. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk folder or check with your email server to see if they blocked auto-order confirmations. 

What if my print arrives damaged?

If your print arrives with shipping damage, please email us within 5 days with the order number and photos of the damage, along with the exterior and interior view of the packaging that the artwork and or frame arrived in so that we can take the necessary steps to send you a replacement.

Can I copy or use the images from this website on my own website, blog, etc?

No. All rights to all the images on this site are reserved by Pictures of Austin and are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. 

If I buy a photographic print, can I make a copy of it? Don't I own it?

When you purchase a print, you do not purchase the copyright or the right to reproduce the image in any form -- you purchase only a physical copy of the image. You may not use or copy any images for any reason without prior permission, even if the use is noncommercial, not for profit, educational, or for your own private use.
